I'm excited to have a mini version of Dobutsu Shogi that my wife and I can take with us when we travel that won't take up much space. It comes with a very nice storage bag to carry the tiles and board. All of the components are very well made and sturdy. At first I was concerned because the board folds in half but I feel it will hold up well. I would have preferred a solid board though.
The instructions are only in Japanese. I believe the full size version of the game has both English and Japanese. While I have no problem with the instructions being in Japanese I suppose some people could. However, the rules are the same as the larger version and can be easily found online.
Overall, this is a great product which I highly recommend. If you already have the larger version you still might consider this mini version for ease of transport and it taking up a bit less space.
