Kyoto-shogi is a small variant of shogi invented in 1976 by Mr. Tamiya.
It is played on a 5x5-square board with special pieces that have peculiar face-tail combinations.
The pieces are "Lance-Tokin", "Silver-Bishop", "Gold-Knight", "Rook-Pawn", and a King. On every move the piece must be flipped over.
